Latest update of my life

I have been on board in this company for more than a week already. In the first place, the company impressed me a lot - friendly colleagues, amicable bosses and a congenial environment. From what I have experienced, it is no exaggeration to draw the conclusion that it has whatever it takes to make a good company of our choices and that I am spellbound, within just a week.

The company commercial house inflatable is located in Nanhai with a nice environment. It brightens my day with the fresh air and verdant trees alongside the roads. One thing, much to my disappointment, is that the dorm locates in Chancheng district, which is a dirty place. Sickeningly dirty. 5 cities - Nanhai, Sanshui, Shunde, Gaoming, and the original Foshan, merged into one big city of Foshan in Year 2003. Each county level city becomes a district, under the governance of new Foshan, while the original Foshan city changed its name into Chancheng district, in aims to clearly clarify the original Foshan, the county level city and the New Foshan city with 5 districts.

Foshan yard Inflatable Products is a household name, which is the major reason that the new merged city keeps this name. Yes, I have to say Foshan is a lot more famous than any other cities it merged. It is OK to keep that name as the name of the new city. But, the government is too biased and prejudiced in its strategies, policies and decisions to govern the new and stronger Foshan city. They made the original Foshan, that is, Chancheng District the city center of New Foshan. But apparently, Chancheng is not capable of that, in that poor financial revenues, dirty environment and poor image makes it difficult to become the major center and hold the 5 districts together. People in the other four districts is constantly thinking of "independence" - they are ashamed to be part of the New Foshan; they are not at all satisfied with the governments' prejudice and bias towards Chancheng; the decision to make Chancheng district the major city centre gross them out.

You know what? Nanhai and Shunde are a lot richer economically, culturally and historically. And for others, the city centre of Sanshui and Gaoming provide so much convenience, so wonderful amenities and a very good environment to live in. In my eyes, you will feel compelled to fall in love with the city of Sanshui the moment you witness its beauty. In Sanshui, you’ll learn to live your life, the same way you’ll learn to appreciate its natural beauty. It's born to be amazing and gorgeous; just the same way you are born to be!

Dirty, Crowded, Nasty, Poor, chaotic... So much that I wanna say about this district of Chancheng. Yet, no other words for it! I am done with this!

But, I do have good news to tell. The company has already rented a few apartments in Guicheng, city centre of Nanhai district. This is, actually, incredible. Too good to be true. Finally. I mean, Finally, I can stay far, far away from that hell of Chancheng district.

The company is located in Nanhai district, Foshan, Guangdong. Nanhai is a nice place to both live and work in. I cannot say ill of it, nor could I undermine its value that it deserves. The diversity in my company isn't so conspicuous. Of the total, say, natives from Foshan account for as many as 60% - a staggeringly high portion.

My dorm is way far away from my company. I took bus 140 to transfer to and fro the company and the dorm. Frankly speaking, it was quite a distance between the dorm and the company. It took me 25 minutes by bus. Guangzhou's traffic problem takes no beating. In this matter, Foshan is a lot better, with less traffic and far less residents, permanent and temporary. In the case of Guangzhou, it would take 2 times as many to go through the same distance. You might be misled to think that it is a lot easier in Foshan than in Guangzhou to take buses. But, that’s only one tip of the iceberg and my suggestion is that never come down to conclusions too early by some very superficial phenomenon. The one thing that matters most is that it just annoyingly takes more time to wait in line for the bus to come than it takes to commute to the company. This one issue alone, I think, reflects a city's poor management skills. The city is not providing convenience possible, but creating problems incessantly. What an agitation!

I am longing to living in Guicheng!
